DeVilla has done make up for many of the dancers
of the IAMED video series produced by Suzy Evans,
as well as belly dance instructional videos for
Jillina. Most recently DeVilla designed the make up
for Zahra Zuhair's highly acclaimed "Caravan of
Secrets" show and coached the dance stars of
Jillina's "Belly Dance Evolution" show on their
characters' different make up looks. DeVilla's
summer film release was "500 Days of Summer,"
which received great reviews. She also worked on
"Iron Man 2" and was the Key Make Up Artist on
"Born to be a Star" by Happy Maddison Films,
which will be out next summer. She is currently
Department Head of a new TV show starring Ray
Romano, "Men of a Certain Age" airing this
December on TNT.
DeVilla has also served as a troupe leader and
choreographer for many years, and can currently
be seen dancing in restaurants and fine shows all
over Los Angeles. She teaches on Saturday

DeVilla's Tip: Loreal Lineur Intense in Carbon Black, a felt tip liquid eyeliner. It goes on with ease! This liner is very workable and forgiving of mistakes, and stays on through performances without needing touch ups!!!! We used it in "Caravan of Secrets" and it ROCKS! |

In my workshop we will cover basic beauty and stage make up, highlighting and shading for stage, dramatic Arabian eyes, eyelash application, and how to create your perfect lip! We will also discuss creating character make ups (such as the ones in "Caravan of Secrets") and period make ups of the 20's, 30's, and 40's to current styles. I will also discuss fantasy and Sci Fi make up looks. If you learn the basics, you can do anything!!!
