Victorio Starfire's Bio:
Victorio Xavier has been a performing world percussionist for over a decade, playing a wide range of percussion from West African to Egyptian and even Irish. His formal education includes rhythm training and some music theory, and has studied under numerous professionals. Working as a freelance musician, performer and instructor, he has played with both local and nonlocal groups, while still creating arrangements for his own ensembles. He performs at concerts, festivals, private parties, political events, and fundraisers throughout CA. 
He is also the director for Beyond the Veil, a collaborative drum ensemble bringing a mix of Middle Eastern & West African percussion & rhythms whle adding some flair with original arrangements.
