No matter what style of dance you perform, you need great photos, and this workshop gives you the tools for looking amazing in front of the camera, whether in still shots or on video.

From head shots to full body poses, learn tips and tricks to achieve beautiful body lines and interesting angles, highlight your assets and hide your flaws. 

We’ll analyze the ingredients that make a memorable dance or glamour photograph, and you’ll learn how to relax and feel confident in front of the camera, maximizing your best facial features and projecting vibrant emotions. 

We’ll also touch on costuming, lighting, camera friendly make-up techniques and use of props before running through a number of Burlesque, Belly Dance, Headshots and cute retro Pin Up poses.

After a quick break to touch up make up and change clothes, professional photographer Maharet Hughes will shoot your mini photo session, with Princess Farhana personally styling and coaching you.

Come to class made up; please bring a costume ( or whatever outfit you want to be photographed in) and any small props you’d like to use.
