Music & dance of Upper Egypt including~ 
*An introduction to the “Raqset al Sajat” method: producing the sounds, reading simple musical notation, understanding the simple maths of 2/4, 4/4, and 8/4. 
*Groove: learn how to play “groovy “ patterns to Upper Egyptian rhythms, dance to it and hear some applications. 
*Shimmy: timing your shimmies to the rhythms. 
*Changing sides: improve your ability to change sides and restore balance.
*Melodies: learn to sing the chorus of a Helm song, playing sajat.

Understanding the music as a musician and the dance as a dancer, bring new tools into your understanding of finger cymbals (sajat) and Upper Egyptian music and dance!!!
