The Markaz invites you to enjoy a beautiful, high energy and spiritually-invigorating night of North African music and dance, starring the Bedouin-X ensemble with Alfred Madain (vocals, percussion), Ava Nahas (percussion, vocals), David Markowitz (saz, oud), Timo Maloof (violin), David Martinelli (percussion) and Mike Gadsby (bass, guitar); plus the colorful Qabila Folkdance Company led by Aubre Hill; and the Algerian master raï singer, Chaba Fela Oudane. Seating for this concert is general admission and tickets are just $20 when purchased in advance, $25 at the door! The concert takes place at the beautiful Pico Union Project concert hall, just west of downtown L.A. There is free parking in the lot and on the street.
