The Fourth Friday of every month gathers bellydance artists from around LA, as well as special guests, for an evening of experimental pieces dedicated to the monthly theme. This is where artists can push, get feedback, try out new ideas, see what works as well as what may not~ all in a supportive environment meant to foster creativity and expression. 

Doors at 8pm/ Show starts at 8:30pm
Open dancing & drumming afterwards
ONLY $10 at the door

To further push our artistic voices, there are general themes for each hafla. The theme for November is Seasons!

Our events are all ages, although we do not censor the music. So fair warning, profanity may be present in some of the pieces.

Lineup changes regularly. If you are interested in performing, please contact us at info@laraqs.com with a synopsis of your piece and what date you are interested in.  Please only sign up for one hafla at a time to allow for more people to have the opportunity. Pieces can be up to 5 minutes long, and a cast email for each hafla goes out 2 weeks prior. Dancers receive video & photos of their performance.
