Join us for an intensive workshop on dance and costume of the Qajar Era, 19th century Persia, taught by master teacher and performer, Dr. Robyn Friend, in a relaxed, spa-like atmosphere. Dr. Friend has devoted many years to the study and re-creation of the dance and costume of this fascinating era.
Included in the workshop fee are guided shopping excursions, 20 hours of instruction in dance, music, and costuming, materials for making your own hat or belt, and most meals. We can also assist you with airport transfers, and with finding housing nearby. You will have an opportunity to perform in an enchanting garden on Saturday night 12 August, if you wish.
The fee for the entire weekend is $325, with a discounted rate of $275 if you pay in full by 1 June. Space is limited, so reserve your spot now!
