Freya is a Los Angeles native. Intrigued as a child by
bellydancers seen in old James Bond movies, Freya
has dedicated herself to Bellydance for nearly a
decade. While on this journey, she realized that
Bellydance was just a portion of this adventure.
Influenced by some of the West Coast’s greatest
baladi instructors, including Tonya Chanis, Mesmera
and Delilah, Freya went on to seek guidance from
masters in the realms of Ritual and Shamanic Dance.

Over the past 4 years, Freya has been committed to
encouraging women to be communal with one
another and has strived to create atmospheres
where women can genuinely communicate with one
another, dance freely and beautifully, and share
information. Towards this goal, she created
BellySpa, a day-long Women’s Conference and the
EclecticBellyDance For Love Experiences.
