Q: Where can I announce my event?
A: Our Calendar is communal, so you may add your own local event by clicking on Add Event at the bottom
of the page. Enter a Title for the event in the top box, and web address OR descriptive text in the second
box. To edit/remove items, please ask for help.
Q: How do I get my flyer on LARaqs.com?
A: You can send us links or text for events you want posted. We will put text links on our site that link to
your flyers or online event announcement. To get a flyer posted on the LARaqs server, or photo ad on the
home page or other site pages (such as LAEvents page, LAShopping or Dancer Directory page) please see
our rates page or contact us.
Q: How do I make a general announcement to the Belly Dance community in my area?
A: We love hearing your feedback and try to post it often, but we also encourage you to visit Los Angeles
Belly Dance ~ LARaqs on tribe.net or the Facebook Fan Page to post your general announcements for
events, classes, auditions, comments, questions, and general musings.
Q: What areas do you cover?
A: We currently list events all over California centered in the Los Angeles area, from the Bay area down to
San Diego and east through Las Vegas – just about anything within a reasonable shimmy from Los
Angeles! We also list dance-focused exotic travels and tours presented by local dancers in LAResources.
Q: I want my button on the home page.
A: Take a look at our ad rates and contact us for more details.
Q: I sent you my info. Why didn’t I get a reply?
A: Occasionally, some messages slip into our spam box and get removed before we view them. If you’ve
submitted info or an event or resource and haven’t heard back from us, it’s possible we didn’t get your
